(24News) Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said that every day there is a new challenge, medicines are also stolen from government hospitals and tests are also conducted from outside.
Addressing the ceremony in Lahore, he said that the entire team deserves congratulations on the launch of the health clinic. Yes, there is a huge threat of infiltration on the border areas of Punjab which is a big challenge.
Maryam Nawaz said that the health facilities for the 14, 15 crore people of Punjab do not let me sleep at night, the facilities are not as they should be because the problems are too many.
The Chief Minister of Punjab said that after I took oath, during the period of Shehbaz Sharif, the free medicines given to people in hospitals had reduced to 30% from 90% in the previous period, people had stopped getting free medicines. That cancer will not be treated for free, has revived the tradition of Shahbaz Sharif and now double medicines are being given on the same basis, I personally ask people about medicines during hospital visits.

He said that it is our national tragedy that we do not do any of our work as service and responsibility, we just try to spend 8 to 2 hours on mobile phones and go home. One should understand that there is no work in his life except service, it is difficult to understand that medicines are stolen.
He said that in our country medicine of the poor is also stolen and it is said in government hospitals that tests are done from outside, the security of hospitals is also outsourced, security officials take money from patients for admission in hospitals. It is very incomprehensible.
The Chief Minister of Punjab said that his officers have been deployed in two or three hospitals in Lahore so that the facilities can be reviewed. Complaints can be redressed.
He said that change does not come overnight, efforts are being made, hospitals are also lacking, so we have started mobile health clinics in which more than 7 million people have been treated.
Maryam Nawaz said that free home delivery of medicines has been started, efforts are being made to deliver medicines for cancer, hepatitis, heart diseases to one lakh people, modern facilities will be provided in the new cardiology hospital in Punjab.

Maryam Nawaz said that the construction of Pakistan’s first government hospital for the treatment of cancer is going on rapidly, there was no government hospital facility for cardiology in the entire Sargodha division but the construction of Nawaz Institute of Cardiology Sargodha started a few months ago. is
He said that there are 2 thousand 500 basic health facility centers in Punjab, but this month 1 thousand 250 units will be fully renovated while 904 units are currently being worked on.
