Cem Özdemir, Federal Minister of Economics for Food and Agriculture, wants to introduce an advertising ban for unhealthy foods that contain too much sugar, fat or salt. The only question is – what is unhealthy and in what doses, what does “too much” mean? Özdemir’s plans, which are not entirely surprising because such advertising bans have been on the agenda in the EU for some time, have been criticized by media and food associations.

In this edition of our podcast “Die Medien-Woche” we talk about advertising bans.
