The Masters tournament in Turin reaches the last line. Tonight (Saturday) the contestants in the final game were determined. The reigning champion, Danil Medvedev, qualified for the final after defeating the Norwegian Caspar Rod 4: 6, 2: 6 yesterday, and will meet Alexander Zebrav who defeated Novak Djokovic 6: 7, 6: 4, 3: 6 in a great battle.
Medvedev did not encounter much difficulty against his surprising opponent, who is ranked eighth in the world. He won the first set 4: 6 after 42 minutes and then won 2: 6 easily on the way to a prestigious place in the final where he will try to defend his title.
The second semi-final promised and exists. Novak Djokovic, ranked first in the world, hoped to end the year on the right foot and sought revenge against Alexander Zebrav, who also lost at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, but the young German had other plans. Already in the first set he showed character and won 6: 7 after a tie breaker, in the second he surrendered 6: 4 but in the third set he presented spectacular tennis and completely broke the Serb on the way to 3: 6 and qualifying for the final.
