The story attracted
What drew me to Meme Boys is the subject it deals with. It is very fresh and modern. No one has dealt with that issue yet. Especially the mainstream film industry. I understood that when I read the script. That’s how I say I can do it. My character name is Mojo. Creating memes is no child’s play. Only those with good creativity can do it. Not everyone can do it. Making memes is something I could never do in real life. But the character of Mojo is a role that is very close to my real personality. So, it was easy for me to play that role and give results.
Rehearse the dialogue
Namrata, Jayant and Siddharth are my friends in the web series. She will appear as Julie, Power and Jumbo in this web series. We became good friends from the day we met. It made acting easier. We started rehearsing from the moment we got together to read the script. That is, the dialogue will be told. There was no particular workshop before the shoot. The main preparation was rehearsing the dialogue. The four of us sat and watched the dialogues over and over again. It really helped us.
Shoot like campus days
The shoot took place in Chennai. There is a college called KCG. A block of that college was given away for the shoot. The shoot was very interesting. Everyone had a feeling of coming back to the campus. You could say the whole team had the same vibe. Ours was a set full of jokes and bursts of laughter. Guru Somasundaram sir joined us immediately. Learned a lot from him. His suggestions have helped us improve our performance in many areas. Through that, the entire scene will rise to another level. The process was very beautiful.
You will not be disappointed
Everyone at home loved the trailer. Their comment was that this role is different from the roles I have played before. This is a role with some comedy and laughter. So, they are all very happy. Appa’s response was that the trailer is very promising. Anyway, everyone is eagerly waiting to watch the web series. One thing is certain. This webseries will surely entertain you. Enjoy without any tension. Laugh a lot. I am also eager to know the reactions of the audience. Whether it’s a film or a web series, I always give priority to playing new roles. Those characters should interact with the audience. Only then are they relevant. I definitely need the audience’s support in that regard. I know there is a lot of audience in Kerala who like me. For sure, I will never let you down.
That decision is personal
Which of the upcoming projects to choose is entirely my decision. Father or sister do not interfere in it. I have always had the opportunity and fortune to work with a great team. I have worked with very experienced and talented talent. Whether it was 96 or Pawai Kathais, it was a great team. If you think about it that way, I’m pretty lucky. The love and support I get from each set is overwhelming. It is not just a continuation of my love for my father. How I treat each other, they will treat me accordingly. If I don’t, I’ll never get a warm welcome, let me be anyone’s son. I have learned that if you treat others with respect, you will receive it back.
