On this Valentine’s Day, we share the love story of students who met in the halls of AIC. meet Nath Ferran e Mariana Nerise Gabriela Lazos e Claudio Rozincouples who met while learning about cinema!

Nathan and Mariana

Nath, formed by Technical Acting for Film and TV and acting as a producer and assistant director in several projects at AIC, he sold Guaiacas – an accessory often used by audiovisual professionals – and that’s how his path crossed with Mariana’s, during a sale.

But destiny reserved something special for them, which would only happen months later. Mariana was a student at the Acting for Film and TV – Intensive Vacation and, on a day of shooting scenes, Nath was working as an assistant director. At the end of class, the class decided to meet at a gas station near the school to continue the conversation.

“I saw her in the hall and I joked: let’s go to a date? Just the two of us!” recalls Nath, laughing. But it was just a joke since there were more than 20 people. It was at that moment that they began to talk and get to know each other better.

And the first kiss happened before Nath went to the bathroom. “She said she was going to the bathroom, and I acted like an attacker, a number 10, and said ‘Do I kiss you now or later?’” recalls Mariana, between laughs. Even with Nath’s answer being “later”, Mariana took the initiative.

Today, they’ve been together for almost two years and a lot has happened in the meantime. They decided to live together and even adopted a pet. In addition, through their work in the audiovisual sector, they realized the need for productions with greater female representation. So they opened the Conchaa production company dedicated to making documentaries, fiction and music videos with a focus on female protagonists, in addition to having a mostly female team.

Claudio and Gabriela

Another love story is that of Claudio Rozinformer student of Filmworkse Gabriela Lazosformer student of the course Acting Technician for Film and TV and currently professor of Dubbing the AIC.

The love story between the two began during the pandemic, when all activities were virtual. During an online exercise proposed by the teacher Vanessa Prietowhich brought together the TAC and Filmworks classes in a actors direction, Gabriela and Claudio connected immediately. After classes, they decided to continue meeting virtually to perform other exercises and share experiences.

When movie theaters finally reopened, Claudio invited Gabriela to watch a movie. “He called me with the excuse that the film was related to the road map that we were developing together”, recalls Gabriela.

This meeting was the beginning of a relationship that has lasted almost two years. Together they worked on a few productions, including a Asin which Claudio’s group needed to produce a short film and Gabriela was the protagonist.

Today, Gabriela is a teacher of Dubbing on AIC and also acts as a voice actress. Meanwhile, Claudio is part of the project and innovation team for the HCor Hospital.
