New Delhi: This time in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP’s performance was not good in many states. Among the states where BJP’s performance was not good, Uttar Pradesh is the most discussed. It is not that this discussion is only about the party’s performance. The discussion is more about the rift between two big leaders within the party. The party’s performance was already not good and by-elections are going to be held soon on ten seats of UP. In such a situation, the tension of Delhi leaders has also increased regarding UP. Now efforts are being made from Delhi to resolve this entire dispute. Meetings of senior party leaders are going on continuously. Although no one has come forward and said anything yet, but amid this entire discussion, there seems to be a possibility that changes are possible in both the UP BJP organization and the Yogi cabinet. Will this formula work in UP?
UP BJP may get a new state president soon. There is also news that amid the blame game after the defeat in UP, the current president Bhupendra Chaudhary has offered to resign after meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President JP Nadda. Along with this, reshuffle in the Yogi cabinet is also considered certain. In the second term of the Yogi government, the cabinet was expanded earlier this year after the RLD and Rajbhar’s party joined the NDA. After that cabinet expansion, another reshuffle can be seen soon. In this reshuffle, backward faces of the party can get a chance. Also, there can be more representation in the areas where BJP has lost.
Big challenge of by-election on 10 seats
Opposition parties are constantly taunting the BJP over the rift between Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. SP, Congress are trying to capitalize on this opportunity in their favor. Amidst this discussion, the BJP central leadership has asked the state leaders to stop making public statements and focus on the upcoming 10 by-elections. The Chief Minister held a meeting with ministers today regarding the by-elections to be held on these 10 seats, but both the Deputy CMs of the state, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, were missing from this meeting.
The discussion of discord is quite old
The discussion of rift between BJP leaders from UP to Delhi intensified when Keshav Prasad Maurya gave a statement about the government and the organization. Actually, the discussion of this started from the time when Maurya did not attend several cabinet meetings chaired by Adityanath in the last one month. The discussion of rift between these two leaders started in Yogi’s first term and second term as well. If this discord in the party is not resolved soon, then BJP may have to suffer more losses in the coming time. The top leadership of BJP is also aware of this and hence there is every possibility of a new plan coming out soon regarding UP.
