A delegation of National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NIT) met Brigadier General (retd) M Sakhawat Hussain, Advisor to the Ministry of Textiles and Jute and Shipping.

They met at the office of the Secretariat on Wednesday (September 4) at noon.

At this time, the students of Neta raised several demands aimed at creating an exploitation-free education environment. Among them, normalization of all campus activities, bringing the attackers of students under punishment, construction of new academic buildings and hostels, nationalization of National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research is one of them.

Dr. M Sakhawat Hossain listened to the demands of the students seriously and assured to fulfill their logical demands with the concerned parties.
