New Delhi: A meeting of National Security Officers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization hosted by India will be held in Delhi today. Central National Security Adviser Ajit Doval will address the meeting. SCO countries including Pakistan will attend the meeting.

The purpose of SCO is to promote economic, political and military cooperation among member countries. India became a full member of SCO on June 9, 2017. There are currently eight member countries in SCO. They are China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, India, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
