Representatives of the two countries met at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
“There was a meeting with the participation of the representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Teh-Kornidzor area, work was carried out on clarifying the border, as a result, the situation in this area has improved significantly. At the moment, the work is ongoing, additional information will be provided to the public about the results,” the National Security Service of Armenia said.
The Azerbaijani side has not yet given official information about the meeting.
It should be noted that on March 30, the Azerbaijani army occupied a number of heights in the mentioned direction, equipped the positions and took control of the conventional border area with Armenia. Until now, the military positions of Azerbaijan were at a certain distance, because in this direction the Armenian side continued to use the road from Tekh to the new track of the Lachin corridor (put into operation in August 2022).
Currently, Armenia has built its own part of the road from Kornidzor village to this highway.
