Meeting with Lella Costa: When the theatre is a woman

It starts on September 1, 2024 Waiting for the Rapallo BPER Banca Awardthe programme of meetings dedicated to the prestigious recognition awarded to the best Italian authors of books or essays in the fields of ‘fiction’ and ‘customs and essays’ promoted by City of Rapallo with the support of BPER Bank.

The schedule opens Sunday 1st September 2024, at 6.30 pm, at Villa Porticciolo in Rapallo with the meeting When the theatre is a woman who sees Lella Costa – actress, writer and jury member of the Award – to dialogue with Serena Sinigagliadirector and acting teacher for the school of the Teatro Stabile di Torino and the Piccolo Teatro di Milano. The two protagonists, both artistic directors of the Teatro Carcano in Milan since 2021, explore the role of women in contemporary theater, sharing their experiences and reflections with the audience. Admission is free until seats are filled.

Lella Costaactress and writer of award-winning novels about her own condition and that of women in general, performer of shows such as “Stanca di guerra” revived for over 20 years on our stages, is a tireless testimonial of the point of view and the impact of women in today’s life. One of the most appreciated directors of Italian theater, both prose and lyric, Serena Sinigaglia he founded the ATIR company (Associazione Teatrale Indipendente per la Ricerca) of which he directed the season of the Teatro Ringhiera in Milan in its last 10 years of opening, building cultural policies and initiatives aimed at citizens.
