Punt Welzijn will hold the information meeting ‘Dealing with dementia for carers’ on Tuesday 14 March, provided by Home Instead Home Service.

When you care for someone with dementia, you also have to deal with many other things in addition to the practical things such as care tasks and household tasks. Your loved one may start behaving differently and a previously equal relationship is changing more and more into a caring relationship. The disease can cause your vision of the future to look different than you had previously thought and you also worry about the other person. This way, practically and emotionally, all sorts of things come at you. Knowledge and sharing experiences can help you deal with the situation.

That is why Punt Welzijn organizes the information meeting ‘Dealing with dementia for carers’ in collaboration with Home Instead Home Service. Informal carers are given tools and tips here that can help in their daily dealings with their loved ones.

The meeting is free and will take place from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at the Keenter Hart (Sint Jozefskerkplein 3 in Weert).

You can register via www.puntwelzijn.nl (via activities).
