No Winners in Mega Millions Drawing; Jackpot Increases to $287 Million for Tuesday’s Draw
The Mega Millions drawing last Friday did not produce any winners, resulting in the jackpot increasing to a substantial $287 million for Tuesday’s draw. The numbers were drawn just after 11 p.m. ET, with the winning numbers being 17, 22, 25, 30 and 38. The Megaball was 24 and the Megaplier was 4X.
According to the lottery, if there’s a winner for Tuesday’s drawing and they choose the cash option, they will go home with over $133.3 million. The full list of winners will be available on the lottery’s website.
When purchasing a Mega Millions ticket, you have the opportunity to select six numbers. The first five will be chosen from a range of 1 to 70 for the white balls, and the last number will be chosen from 1 to 25 for the coveted golden Mega Ball.
Some individuals may find it daunting to pick their own numbers, in which case they have the option to select Easy Pick or Quick Pick, which will generate the numbers for their ticket at random. In certain states, players can add a Megaplier for an additional dollar, potentially increasing non-jackpot winnings by a factor of 2, 3, 4, or even 5 times.
