It was an excellent weekend that happened thanks to the fact that Barbie continues to add as if it were a recent premiere, but also Megalodon 2 arrived and had great numbers. Between the two they had more than half a million tickets.
We start with Barbie, which brought 322,365 viewers according to Ultracine and it is expected that with sales on Tuesday it will pass three million viewers… almost nothing. A very good average.
But with a similar average, which shows that it was a great premiere, there was Megalodon 2, which had fewer theaters. But for a post-winter holiday premiere and not taking into account the long weekend in August, the fact that it has sold 214,482 tickets is really very good.
And to close the podium Oppenhaimer de Nolan continues to sell very well. His average is lower, but it is a three-hour film and that takes at least one turn away from the programming of each theater. Its 700,000 cumulatives make it clear that it is one of the year’s box office premieres.

852,000 people went to the cinemas, 38% less than the previous weekend, which was part of the winter holidays for half the country. But 101% more than last year and 97% more than the same weekend in 2019.
A very good number for theaters wherever you look at it.
