Megan, what were you thinking when you wore this? | Fashion Forward

Meghan Markle is a woman that the world media loves to hate, but our position regarding her is quite clear – we admire anyone who takes back control of her own life and makes difficult but correct choices. In other words, leaving the royal house was a bold and impressive move, and we will not be persuaded otherwise.

For the most part, we also love Meghan’s fashion choices. She likes quality tailored items in flattering cuts and we, accordingly, are also flattering.

But no one is perfect, and even Megan can miss out sometimes, as happened yesterday when she went shopping in LA.

The good news is that there are quite a few successful elements in this look, first and foremost the bag – a brown leather bucket bag with prominent Khloé stitching, which is the standout item of this look. The brown sandals aren’t bad either, and we loved the shade of the knit nonchalantly tied around the duchess’s shoulders.

But let’s talk about the overalls. It belongs to the Malia Mills brand from New York, and has a creative cut – also strapless, also huge pockets with pleats, also ¾ length, also a tie belt. So many elements, so few reasons to get excited. Meghan’s giant hat isn’t exactly our cup of tea either, but we’ll let that slide because sun protection is a great reason to compromise on style. The overalls, on the other hand, need to come out of Megan’s wardrobe, and preferably an hour before.

But we’re in a crush on the bag (Photo: Instagram Meghan & Harry)
