jpnn.comJAKARTA – PDI Perjuangan General Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri criticized the performance of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) because currently it seems like they are only investigating the red-coloured party secretary general, Hasto Kristiyanto.

Megawati made this statement when delivering a speech at the PDIP 52nd anniversary event at the Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Friday (10/1).

Megawati initially highlighted the performance of several state institutions, one of which was the Constitutional Court (MK), which had decided on controversial regulations.

“It was made into a toy, right, the constitution,” he said, Friday.

Megawati then also criticized the performance of the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK), which currently seems to be pursuing Hasto’s case when many other cases have stalled.

“Cooking, there is no other job, huh, the one that Mr. Hasto pointed at, the one that Mr. Hasto scolded, that’s it, even though many are already suspected, but they just keep quiet,” said the daughter of Proclaimer RI Soekarno or Bung Karno.

Megawati admitted that she diligently opened the newspaper to see the progress of the KPK’s investigation into other cases, but it was never finished.

“I open the newspaper every day, maybe there’s something extra, there isn’t,” said the fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia.
