MILWAUKEE/SACRAMENTO (Dagbladet): Melania Trump will be present during the final day of the Republican National Convention late Friday, CNN reports.
The former First Lady has kept a low profile throughout her husband’s campaign so far, and she has only participated in two public appearances since he launched his third presidential candidacy.
But Melania will not do as Usha Vance, the wife of Vice President JD Vance, did yesterday – namely, speak during the convention.
– She is rarely pushed or persuaded to do things she doesn’t want to do. Therefore, you will not see her on this stage as you did in 2016 and 2020, reports CNN’s Kaitlin Collins.
The channel’s sources indicate that several approached Melania Trump personally about speaking at this convention, but she declined. She reportedly did not want to take on a speaking role, according to CNN.
