The document shows that it was issued in the district of Recklinghausen in North Rhine-Westphalia. However, a spokesperson for the department now explains: “We do not issue such ID cards. There is no doubt that this is a blatant forgery,” Svenja Küchmeister told “Bild”. The district of Recklinghausen now wants to file a complaint for fraud and forgery.
The consequences for illegally parking in a disabled parking space are limited. According to the city of Leipzig, the fine is 55 euros. However, the attempted forgery could have more serious consequences. If convicted, you could face a significant fine or up to five years in prison.
