Mélenchon reframed by Faure: “We cannot suggest that we support him in his excesses”

He was the first to pull out the bayonet, even ahead of the gun-bearers of the presidential majority. This Thursday evening, October 6, at 9:30 p.m., the number one of the PS Olivier Faure grabbed his phone to correct his Insoumis ally Jean-Luc Mélenchon on Twitter. In a message posted a few hours earlier, he compared the march of next October 16 “against the high cost of living and climate inaction”, a joint initiative of the Nupes, to the revolutionary days of October 1789 during which the king, the queen and the dauphin had been forcibly brought back from Versailles to Paris.
