(Usman Khan) The issue of internet slowness has reached the National Assembly, Tehreek-e-Insaf member Rai Hasan Nawaz Kharl while speaking in the meeting said that this government is afraid of the youth due to which firewall is being installed.

The problem of internet slowness has become a headache for the citizens for the past several weeks across the country, so this matter is now being discussed in the Houses. Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Rai Hasan Nawaz Kharl has said that the present government has been blocking the Internet because of the fear of the youth. Federal Law Minister Nazir Tarar, on behalf of the government, responded by saying that the firewall is being installed or not. But efforts are being made to improve the internet, in the next 5 to 6 days the problem of slow internet will be solved, the government wants to improve the entire IT system, the IT minister will give a detailed answer, but his mother is ill. Due to which he had to return to Lahore.

He further said that setting up the fiber uptake is a challenge for us, PTA’s position on the firewall has been revealed, there will be clear improvement in the coming days, there are a lot of rumors related to the firewall. Present the details of VPNs registered in PTA in the House.

On the other hand, according to the written document of the IT Ministry, 20,500 VPNs of 1,422 companies are registered in the country, 1,286 VPNs, 136 licensed and PASHA companies are registered in the country, 19,840 VPNs of 1,286 VPN companies are registered. 136 per license companies have registered 180 VPNs, 417 VPNs of PASHA have been registered by PTA, PTA is working with Ministry of IT and other stakeholders on VPNs registration. is
