The Kevin Durant saga continues. Today (Monday) Shams Charania from The Athletic reported that the competition for Durant’s services has a new entrant and it is the Memphis Grizzlies, who looked into the possibility of a trade with Brooklyn, who are in no rush to release one of the greatest scorers of all time.

As mentioned, the Bears were eliminated last season in the playoffs against the reigning champion Golden State, and they are interested in making the leap from a nice team in the West to a real contender when the combination between Durant and the team’s current star, Jay Morant ignites the imagination in the city of Elvis Presley.

Memphis reportedly offered the Nets one of the team’s top two talents besides Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bain, in addition to several first-round draft picks, but were met with a refusal from Nets manager Sean Marks, whom Durant asked to fire. Together with the coach, former player Steve Nash.

Durant announced on June 30, the day the free agency started, that he wanted to leave Brooklyn, this after the breakup and elimination in the sweep last season against the Celtics, and every team in the best league in the world looked at an “angle” that could land K.D. in their hall.
