Memunda Ultimax Karate Club emerged as the champions in the District Karate Association 24th Karate Championship held in Vatakara. The club scored an impressive 143 points to clinch the title, while Vadakara Budo Karate Club secured the runners-up position with 113 points.

A total of 800 athletes participated in 97 categories, showcasing their skills and determination in the championship. The event was inaugurated by District Sports Council President O. Rajagopal at the IPM Academy, with President P. Sunil Kumar presiding over the proceedings.

The championship also saw the presence of prominent individuals such as journalist Pradeep Chompala, IPM Academy Campus Director Prasad Kurup, K. Ratheesh, K. Ramesh, Manoj Mahadev, and PK Anoop Kumar, who all shared their insights and motivation for the young athletes.

Following their victory, the Memunda Ultimax Karate Club will now gear up to represent the district in the upcoming State Karate Championship, which is scheduled to take place in Ernakulam on the 26th, 27th, and 28th of this month.
