Dhe men’s shorts business is apparently a safe bet for fashion brands. Because in the calendar summer and regardless of the meteorological conditions, many men wear shorts. From June to August, the cityscape in this country is often reminiscent of what is going on in Great Britain all year round: people – there it’s not just men – with bare legs. Rain? The few drops!
The concept of men’s shorts is obviously not only suitable for all weather conditions in summer, it also has a high degree of generality in terms of design. A pair of shorts remains short, but at the same time is rarely shorter than just above the knee.
It is hardly that uncomplicated in women’s fashion. Last autumn, for example, many fashion brands relied on mini skirts for the summer of 2021, because: Corona should be over, the joie de vivre should return. And the temperatures shouldn’t be lower than in the hot summer years 2018, 2019 and 2020. Between the cold May and the rain in July there were certainly a few mini moments in June, but even then, many women decided to wear a midi skirt.
