Kozhikode: A small Eid-ul-Fitr festival will be held in the state tomorrow. As the month of Shawwal did not appear anywhere yesterday, various Qazis and religious scholars have announced that Ramadan 30 will be completed and tomorrow will be Eid al-Fitr.
Extensive facilities were set up at various centers to view the festival, but the festival was declared tomorrow due to unreliable information. Eid will be celebrated in other parts of India tomorrow, including Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Today is a small festival in all the Gulf countries, including Oman.
