The rapper’s anti-Semitic comments Kanye West, in which he spoke out against the Jewish people and used harsh words, have become one of the most talked about topics of recent days around the world. Celebrities from all over the globe uploaded a post on their Instagram page that read: “I support my Jewish friends and the Jewish people”, in order to express their opinion on the issue, or alternatively, as many claim, in order to condemn West’s behavior.

In three stories she posted on Instagram, the well-known pro-Palestinian wrote: “Violence is not okay anywhere, for anyone and for any reason. Check your Jewish friends, protect all the people on the margins: that includes the Jews. Anti-Semitism is not forgivable under any circumstances. You will learn about anti-Semitic propaganda, opinions and rhetoric. Mental illness is no excuse for anti-Semitism.”
While many are happy that Hadid stood by the side of the Jewish people, unlike usual, others claim that the move was made out of “hatred of Haman and not out of love for Mordechai” – that is, the post went up to go against West, rather than to express support for the Jewish people.
