jpnn.comMERAK – PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) announced that entering H-4 of Eid homecoming, the express and regular ferry ticket quotas for all vehicle classes have been completely booked until April 8 2024.

The Corporate Secretary of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) said that according to the predictions of the 2024 Lebaran Transport operation plan, the peak flow of homecoming crossings will occur on Saturday (6/4) or D-4 to Sunday (7/4) tomorrow.

“The volume of vehicles heading to Merak Harbor has continued to increase since Saturday (6/4) morning until this afternoon. Thank you for the very high enthusiasm of homecoming travelers on the Merak – Bakauheni route where the total number of passengers crossing from H-7 to H-5 from Java to Sumatra “It has reached 222 thousand people and 46,250 vehicles,” said Shelvy.

He added that the enthusiasm of the travelers was high so that ferry tickets for both express and regular services on the Merak-Bakauheni route were sold out until the scheduled departure date of April 8 2024.

“We appeal to all people who want to cross from Java to Sumatra to buy tickets again after April 8 2024 for the sake of comfort and safety for service users when traveling by ferry,” said Shelvy again.

Tickets are available only for pedestrians for both express and regular services at Merak Harbor.

Tickets for motorbike travelers are also still available via Ciwandan-Banten Port.

“Currently, 30 percent of two-wheeled vehicles at Ciwandan Port are still available because 70 percent have been sold,” he said.
