According to the specialized job portal Talent, the average delivery worker salary in Spain is 17,047 euros per year or 8.74 per hour. Entry-level positions start with an income of 15,000 euros per year, while more experienced professionals earn up to 22,202 per year. That is, 1,850 euros per month. This figure in Mercadona rises by 189 euros according to the permanent job offers for these professionals available right now on their website.
Mercadona offers a salary initial (very similar to that indicated by Talent) of 1,507 euros per month for delivery drivers, but with salary progression up to 2,039 euros in the fourth year of stay in the company. In addition, the company guarantees two days of rest per week and offers paid practical training to ensure success in performing assigned tasks.
In Euskadi right now there are three offers, two in Bizkaia (Berango and Basauri) and one in Álava (Vitoria). To be able to access them you must comply with the following: requirements:
-Have at least Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) as a minimum training.
-Availability to work Monday to Saturday.
-Flexibility to perform rotating morning and afternoon shifts.
-Have a driving license with at least one year of experience.
-Customer service orientation and passion for driving.
-Be organized and used to working with assigned times.
-Possess communication skills and motivation to learn.
