While the Parisian club had to recruit Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea, and the latter was in the premises of the Factory in Boulogne-Billancourt to sign his contract before midnight, a last-minute unforeseen event came to reshuffle the cards… On hold this Wednesday morning, the loan of the Moroccan international could not be validated because of a too late sending of the documents on behalf of Chelsea which was shown hard in business until the end in this file. An appeal to the LFP was filed by Paris to contest an error on the part of the Blues who would have sent the wrong document several times when an agreement between the clubs had been reached around 10:45 p.m. for a loan without an option to buy.
At the same time, while the transfer market between French clubs ended at 11 p.m., an hour earlier, young Ismaël Gharbi was due to leave on loan at OGC Nice. But again, there was a delay in sending the last signed documents, which only allowed the loan to be approved at 11:10 p.m. (Editor’s note: 10 minutes late). While he had initialed his contract and thought he would take over the management of the Gym, this Wednesday morning, the 18-year-old midfielder will therefore end the season in Paris.
This file was indirectly linked to the arrival of Ziyech.
