Mercedes-Benz inaugurated a Logistics Center for Cars and Vans in Limeira, in the interior of the state of São Paulo. The center covers 18,500 square meters and has more than 70,000 pieces to meet the brand’s entire demand in Brazil.

In all, Mercedes-Benz invested R$ 76 million to open the new Logistics Center for Cars and Vans in the interior of São Paulo. According to the manufacturer, 150 direct jobs will be generated.

Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans Logistics Center, which took a little over 2 years to get off the ground, can serve the automaker’s 200 dealerships across the country. It also has 65,000 parts storage locations, in addition to being prepared for reverse logistics focused on electric vehicle parts.

Mercedes-Benz also reported that the Logistics Center for Cars and Vans has natural and LED lighting, natural air exchange, 100% electric forklifts and motion sensors to turn on the lighting. The center also has a mezzanine with 2 thousand square meters of storage to allocate medium and light items to optimize space. Including, it is already parts for all electric vehicles of the brand sold in the domestic market.

The logistics space also has an area of ​​7,000 square meters for medium, large and heavy parts, providing greater agility with pallets.
