Mercedes-Benz will dramatically change the price of car models in India

Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will increase the prices of its car models by up to 5 percent. The new price hike will be effective from April 1, 2023. Earlier, by December last year, Mercedes-Benz increased the price of cars by 5 percent.

Mercedes-Benz has attributed the price hike to the continued depreciation of the Indian rupee against the euro and rising production costs and transportation costs. Mercedes-Benz had stated that the previous price hike was due to increased production costs.

As per the new price hike, Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine and GLA models will be priced at Rs. It will be increased up to 2 lakhs. The C-Class, E-Class and S-Class models are priced at Rs. 2.5 lakh, Rs. 3.5 lakh and Rs. 6 lakhs is increased. The GLE 300d 4Matic and GLE 400d 4Matic models are priced at Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 3 lakh rises. The GLS is priced at Rs. 10 lakh goes up to Rs.

The top end models Mercedes-Benz Maybach S580 is priced at Rs. 12 lakh and the EQS 580 is priced at Rs. 4 lakh goes up to Rs. Earlier, Mercedes AMG E 53 4Matic Plus Cabriolet model launch announced that ten new models will be launched in the Indian market in the first half of 2023 alone.
