Merkel, count every day, support emergency brake – First Floor

(ANSA) – BERLIN, APRIL 16 – “The virus does not forgive any hesitation. Any delay only means that time is getting longer. The virus understands only one thing: determination” and “every day counts”. This was stated by Angela Merkel, speaking to the Bundestag to present the modification of the pandemic law, with the insertion of the emergency brake at the federal level. The Chancellor stressed that the last meeting between the State and the Regions represented a “caesura” and that this requires federal legislative intervention. He then asked for parliamentary support for this important addition to the health protection law. (HANDLE).
