Argentina lead by 2 goals against Croatia in the first semi-final match of Qatar World Cup. In the 34th minute, Super Taram Messi put the team in front. Messi scored the penalty after Julian Alvarez was brought down by Croatian keeper Livakovic in the box. In the 39th minute, a solo goal by Alvarez increased Argentina’s lead to 2.

Argentina face Croatia with two key changes. Lizardo Martínez and Marcus Aquinac were dropped from the playing eleven for the crucial match. They were replaced by Leandro Paredes and Taglifico. Argentina were forced to make a change in the playing eleven due to the yellow card entanglement.

Angel Di Maria was also left out of the starting eleven, much to the disappointment of the fans. The Croatian team entered the semi-finals without any changes.
