Buenos Aires: Argentina football legend Messi has announced that he will retire with the 2022 Qatar World Cup football series.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18. The final of the series will be held on Qatar’s National Day (Dec 18). In this case, Argentina’s star player Lionel Messi, 35, announced his retirement yesterday. He said in an interview to TV channel that the Qatar World Cup series will be his last match.
Messi has played in four World Cup series so far. The 2022 Qatar World Cup will be Messi’s fifth in the series. Argentina will face Saudi Arabia on November 22. Messi plays in this.
