In the past, Facebook Messenger only allowed users to send ordinary compressed images, not high-definition images. Meta recently announced that it will update Facebook Messenger, allowing users to finally send high-definition pictures, add links using QR codes, and send 100MB files. New features will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
The new version of Messenger launched in a few weeks will allow users to send high-definition pictures. Users only need to select the image in the chat room editor, then turn on the high-definition switch and click Send. You can also click on other pictures to send multiple high-definition photos. Users can also create photo albums with friends in a group. First, select multiple pictures from the chat editor, and then click to create an album. If you want to add to an existing photo album, you can click “Add to Photo album”.

New features include QR codes. After updating Messenger, users only need to scan other people’s Messenger QR codes or share their own QR codes through links, without entering someone’s name or phone number to add them to Messenger.

Users no longer need to rely on email to send large files. Users only need to click the “+” button and select files up to 100MB. All major file formats are supported, including Word, PDF and Excel.
