A user of Reddit claims to have found files that refer to upcoming Metal Gear Solid installments that would arrive in a new collection. The first volume was released this week, compiling the classic Metal Gear installments and including MGS, MGS2 and MGS3.
The supposed files would mention the possible launch of a second compilation where we would have: Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid 5 y Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Of this list, the most striking installment is MGS4, since let’s remember that the game has not been released on another platform and is one of the many exclusives for PlayStation 3.
Regarding Peace Walker, an HD version was released for Xbox 360 and PS3. MGS5 is quite well known as it came out on all possible platforms, the last installment being where Hideo Kojima participated after the Japanese creative got into a fight with the people at Konami.
Although it seems that Konami will not say anything regarding this ‘leak’, I do not think it is in vain that they have placed ‘Vol.1‘. The company knows that its IPs have been dormant for a long time and this is an attempt to regain the interest of the public that is just experiencing the saga, or those who want to relive the old glories.
