Meteorology expects heavy rain

The National Center for Meteorology expects that “the weather will remain normal summer weather, with maximum temperatures within their average in most parts of Libya, ranging in the northern regions between (30-35)°C, with high relative humidity, especially in coastal areas, and ranging between (36-41)°C in the southern regions.”

According to the center, “clouds will increase today over some coastal areas from (east of Misurata to Sirte and the surrounding areas – Benghazi Plain to the Green Mountain) with a chance of scattered rain accompanied by thunderstorms.”

According to the center’s statement, “It is expected that the far southeastern regions will witness, starting tomorrow evening, Monday, an increase in thunderstorms and rain in some areas bordering Sudan and Chad (Al-Uwaynat Mountains – Tibesti Mountains – Al-Sara – the far south of Kufra), accompanied by good rains, and it is expected to be heavy on Tuesday, causing some local valleys to flow.”
