According to reports from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), the incident took place in the San Martín Xochinahuac neighborhood, where an officer was carrying out investigative work related to a local criminal cell.

The shots led them to go to Eje 5 Norte Avenue, where they found a man seriously injured with multiple gunshot wounds.

The officer requested emergency medical assistance and secured the crime scene, confiscating a motorcycle that was at the scene.

The authorities have launched an exhaustive investigation, reviewing security camera recordings in search of clues that will help identify those responsible and clarify the events that occurred in this disturbing episode of violence in the San Martín Xochinahuac neighborhood.
