Regional music will have a new space in Mexico City on November 2 and 3. Under the name MEXCLA, a palenque and a fair will be presented where there will be various exponents of diverse Mexican genres.

The initiative presented by Spotify promises to be an experience in which there will be a party full of experiences in the Bicentennial Park, according to a press release.

Although it has not been announced who will perform at the event, expectations are high due to it being a streaming platform event.

“We seek to reflect the great diversity of genres, music, artists and creators that make up our musical and creative scene. MEXCLA Spotify does not have a definition; it addresses a new generation of fans who consume music and content without prejudice or ties. The word “Mexcla” is a combination of “Mexa” pride and the mix of identities that define us as a culture,” the document reads.
