The Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (STPS) and the Ministry of Economy (SE), reports the successful closure of the case on the alleged denial of rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining, within the framework of the Rapid Response Labor Mechanism in Specific Facilities (MLRR) of Annex 31-A of the Treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada (T-MEC).

“However, there are elements that indicate that these were unjustified dismissals, as they were not carried out in accordance with the procedures applicable to the termination of employment relationships.”
The Mexican agency said that six roundtables for dialogue and negotiation were held, organized and conducted by this agency, with the assistance of the Federal Center for Conciliation and Labor Registration.
