Mexico City Congress to discuss Judicial Reform this Thursday

“Having received from the Presidency of the Senate of the Republic the draft decree amending, adding to and repealing various provisions of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States in matters of reform to the Judicial Branch approved by the Congress of the Union, you are hereby summoned to a session of the Congress of Mexico City,” the document reads.

The session with permanent constituent character will be held within the Capital Congress This Thursday at nine in the morning in order to debate and, if necessary, approve the Judicial Reform in the capital of the country.

It should be remembered that the capital Congress still has pending the task of forming and installing the commissions after starting your III Legislature.

Following approval at the federal level, others state congresses have joined in the approval of the Judicial Reform, the first being that of Oaxaca, which with 41 votes in favor approved the reform this morning.

The Congress of Tabasco joined in approving the Judicial Reform, approving it with 24 votes in favor; while the Veracruz legislature did the same with 32 votes in favor.
