Time.news – The doors of the Arena of Castello di Este (PD) are ready to be opened wide for the third edition of Estestate Festivalreview of the organized by Delphi International with the contribution and patronage of the Municipality of the City of Este with the Artistic Direction of Cinzia Bonafede.
From 29 June to 15 July, the walls and tower of the keep, which has dominated the city since the Middle Ages, will become the extraordinary backdrop for the 15-metre wide and 12-metre deep stage which will host the best artists of the pop and rock music scene Italian and international, symphonic music, one man shows, cabaret shows and even DJ sets.
To inaugurate the Festival, Thursday 29 June at 21.30 will be Giuseppe Giacobazzi, Paolo Cevoli and Duilio Pizzocchi, three undisputed protagonists of Italian comedy theatre. An unprecedented show that will remain an exceptional event, born from the meeting of the trio on the occasion of performances for charity events and in favor of voluntary associations. An evening dedicated to the overwhelming humor of Emilia and Romagna.
The highlight of the festival is undoubtedly that of Monday 3 July with the only Italian date of one of the most loved and well-known singers of international pop music: Michael Bolton. Thanks to his voice and his unmistakable stylethe US singer-songwriter has placed seven albums in the US top ten and two singles at number one in the charts, in addition to the American Music Awards and Grammy awards.
For the Italian public, it will be an opportunity to listen live for the first time to the songs taken from Spark of Light, a new work of unreleased songs to be released on June 23rd and fourteen years after the last One World One Love.
To try to give its contribution to the population, Estestate Festival wanted to host, on Tuesday 4 July at 21.30, the event “A voice for Romagna” organized by the Association “Un pane per amor di…” of Teolo in collaboration with Giacomo Ivaylo, well-known Venetian pianist, who assumes the Artistic Direction together with Nada Alfonsi. There are many artists on the emerging music scene who have chosen to join the cause and give their contribution: Christian Riccetti, aka IORA, Tobia Lanaro, Alberto Niero, aka BlackRoll Beatbox, Francesco Carrer, Claudia Ciccateri, but also established artists from the Venetian music scene including Erica Benato, Giorgia Gobbo, aka Minoè, Carlo Alberto, and Flavio Manfrin.
The proceeds of the evening will be entirely donated to the “Agency for territorial security and civil protection of Emilia-Romagna”.
