Michael Jackson was a happy guest in Munich. The fans thanked him with a plaque in front of the luxury hotel where the King of Pop liked to stay. Now, three of his brothers have visited the place.

Munich.

Michael Jackson’s brothers welcomed the monument to the King of Pop, who died in 2009, for the first time in Munich – and they were happy. “Finding this monument means a lot to us, it’s amazing that you did something like this for our brother,” Jacky Jackson was excited in front of the Bayerischer Hof Hotel and maybe he was also speaking from the heart of his brothers Tito and Marlon.

Together with Tito’s son Taryll, three singers, who are around 70 years old, will perform their only concert in Germany on Tuesday evening in Munich.

The Jacksons promised their fans a lot from the famous group Jackson Five, with whom Michael’s brother also started his career. The brothers’ hits include songs like “I Want You Back”, “ABC” and “I’ll Be There”. Songs by Michael will also be included. Marlon said: “We’re going to celebrate on stage.

Music for peace and unity

At the same time, The Jacksons still have a message that they want to make clear, among other things, with Tito’s song “Love Yourself”. Marlon Jackson, 67 years old said “We want to bring people together in unity and peace, this world must become one through music. And Tito, 70 years old, added: “The world needs this more than anything, we all need this.”

Tito’s son Taryll Jackson has only been there for two years, but he has been involved in music since childhood and formed the band 3T with his two brothers. His motivation: “Our whole family loves music, I want to make people smile and make them happy.”

The Jacksons mixed soul, pop, funk and country and blues, initially with Jacky, Jermaine, Tito and later Michael and Marlon. In 1969 they signed a contract with soul label Motown, initially under the wing of soul diva Diana Ross. His first single “I Want You Back” was a success.

With more than 100 million records sold, they became one of the most successful groups in pop history, while Michael Jackson continued his solo career and became a global star.

By the way, the Jacksons were in Munich more than 50 years ago: on November 4, 1972 at their first concert in Germany, also at the Circus Krone, said one of the organizers. (dpa)
