Minister of Transportation Merav Michaeli referred to the anniversary of the assassination of the late former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, and attacked Gush Netanyahu after his victory in the elections: “Today 27 years ago Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated. A prime minister who brought Israel prosperity, well-being and peace, was murdered in a campaign of incitement and violence of messianism, nationalism and darkness.”
She further added that “in these elections, they were won by violence, messianism and nationalism. These are difficult and dangerous results for the State of Israel and a blow to our camp, the camp of truth, hope, equality and peace.”
