The journalist-writer is on Thursday 7 July at 7pm Michelangelo Iossa he will be the protagonist of the meeting “Talking about music – A journey between words and notes”. A very deep and passionate immersion in the lives, travels and artistic productions of dozens of Italian-international musicians, songwriters, interpreters, through which curiosity, analysis, revelations, intuitions re-emerge each time. The focus of this new appointment of the “Varcautori” review will be a vibrant circle that includes the works and poetics of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Pino Daniele, Rino Gaetano, Michael Jackson. Up to the soundtracks of the film saga “007”.
In particular, the appointment will be a privileged opportunity to focus on the last three volumes published by Iossa: “007 Sound operation” (Rogiosi publisher, 2020), “Rino Gaetano. Under an increasingly blue sky “ (Hoepli publisher) e “The great story of Paul McCartney” written with Riccardo Russino and Carmine Aymone released for Hoepli to coincide with the 80th birthday of the former Beatles.

Michelangelo Iossa is a journalist-biographer, writer and university professor. He has collaborated – for almost thirty years – with some of the most prestigious Italian newspapers: he is a contributor to the cultural pages of Corriere del Mezzogiorno, and collaborates with various publications of the RCS group (Sette, L’Economia del Corriere, Buone Notizie, the specials of Corriere ). He teaches at the University of Naples “Suor Orsola Benincasa” in the degree course in Primary Education and Communication Sciences, taking care of the courses of Theories and Techniques of Branding and Communication Management, of Theories and Techniques of the Press- agent and a Musicology Laboratory. Since last March he has been Delegate for Culture for the FAI – Italian Environment Fund / Delegation of Naples. In 2004, Michelangelo Iossa received the Prize for Publishing from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
