Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt Tie the Knot in Geneva

Michelle Yeoh, the Oscar-winning actress, and Jean Todt, the former Ferrari CEO, have finally said “I do” after 19 years together. The couple exchanged vows on Thursday in Geneva, confirming the news to The Hollywood Reporter.

The wedding was attended by close family and friends, and Felipe Massa, an ex-Ferrari Formula 1 driver, shared an Instagram post from the ceremony. The wedding program revealed that Yeoh and Todt had met in Shanghai on June 4, 2004, and Todt proposed to Yeoh on July 26, 2004, with a resounding yes from her.

After 6,992 days of being together, Yeoh and Todt celebrated their special moment on July 27, 2023, in Geneva. Massa shared several photos from the wedding, including ones with the happy couple, group shots, and even pictures with Yeoh and her recent Oscar for Best Actress for her role in “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”

Yeoh made history in March 2022 when she became the first Asian actress to win the award for Best Actress. During her acceptance speech, she empowered women by saying, “Ladies, don’t let anybody tell you you are past your prime.” She continued backstage, dedicating her win to the Asian community and all minorities who deserve to be seen.

In a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter in March 2022, Yeoh expressed her desire to finally have her long-postponed wedding with Todt. After years of waiting, they decided that enough was enough and it was time to make it happen. Yeoh humorously recalled Todt suggesting to check their calendar, which she found unromantic at the time. However, the couple made a firm decision to tie the knot this year.

Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt’s wedding marks a new chapter in their lives together. The happy couple has shown that love can indeed withstand the test of time. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
