DIG/ On July 4, 2023, the Okoumé Capital Fund signed a partnership agreement with five microfinance institutions (EMF) as part of the operationalization of the microcredit program launched by the President of the Republic Ali Bongo Ondimba, during his Republican tour in inside the country.
A partnership agreement which provides to grant loans to individual entrepreneurs, very small businesses and small and medium-sized businesses at the preferential interest rate of 6%.
On Tuesday August 1, 2023 at the Arambo building, Okoumé Capital had to present the progress of this microcredit program for entrepreneurs to Yves-Fernand Mafoumbi and Nicole Jeannine Roboty-Mbou, respectively ministers of SMEs/ PMI and Economy and Recovery.
It is thus noted that this program has been the subject of extensive popularization which has already made it possible to enroll more of 2000 people.
And that it is already effective with 150 validated files for funding ranging from 200,000 to 1,500,000 CFA francs, with disbursements to beneficiaries already.
