American corporation Microsoft added in Teams, the ability to apply 12 digital makeup looks from the Maybelline Beauty app. They are created on the basis of artificial intelligence, which determines more than 70 points on the user’s face, and can be used during corporate video calls.
The virtual looks use real Maybelline products and shades, and users can then bring the virtual makeover to life. Maybelline encourages users to try different makeup looks, while Microsoft believes that the new feature will make people’s lives a little easier.
Virtual Makeover is already available to Teams Enterprise users and can be found under the Video Effects tab. The technology was developed by augmented reality company Modiface (owned by L’Oreal) and is being used by cosmetics companies to try on makeup. The Geena Davis Institute, an NGO, was involved in the development of the virtual look and ensured that the virtual makeover was appropriate for a wide and diverse population.
