The company published, in fact, in a blog of the Windows operating system, an announcement according to which on June 30 it will launch the Xbox app for the 2022 models of Samsung’s smart TVs. This app is in a huge line, as this is the first time that Microsoft allows users to play video games designed for its console – only without its console, or any other device of its own.

The games will not run on Samsung TVs, but on Microsoft servers, as part of Nadela’s huge emphasis on providing cloud services. Users of Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming service, which is available to those who pay a subscription fee for Game Pass Ultimate, will be able to play the hundreds of games available as part of the direct streaming service. All they need, besides the TV, is a game controller that supports Bluetooth – even that of Sony’s supported. Their actions are transmitted by the TVs to Microsoft servers, which process them quickly and send back a live broadcast of the game as the player’s actions affect it.
