Microsoft Introduces Xbox Game Pass Core, a Monthly Online Gaming Service
Microsoft has announced the launch of Xbox Game Pass Core, its new monthly online gaming service. Set to be available on September 14th, this service is a complete revamp of Xbox Live Gold and aims to enhance players’ online gaming experience.
Xbox Game Pass Core allows players to engage in multiplayer mode in a wide range of games on the Xbox platform. With more than 25 games available, players can enjoy playing with friends from around the world. The service will be priced at $9.99 per month or about 340 baht, and $59.99 per year, approximately 2000 baht.
The list of games available on Game Pass Core includes popular titles such as Among Us, Descenders, Dishonored 2, Doom Eternal, Fable Anniversary, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Grounded, Halo 5: Guardians, Halo Wars 2, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Human Fall Flat, Inside, Ori & The Will of the Wisps, Psychonauts 2, State of Decay 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.
Existing Xbox Live Gold users will have their membership automatically converted to Xbox Game Pass Core, with no price adjustments. Microsoft emphasizes that the new service aims to bring together the best of Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass, offering a comprehensive gaming experience to players worldwide.
“For over 20 years, Xbox players have connected via Xbox Live to compete, collaborate, and experience the greatest online multiplayer games on the planet,” said a representative from Microsoft. “With Game Pass Core, we are taking the next step in revolutionizing the way we add content to our service and providing players with a taste of the Xbox Game Pass catalog of games.”
Microsoft’s decision to launch Xbox Game Pass Core marks the end of Games with Gold, the previous offering that provided free games to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. The company is confident that this new service will further enhance the gaming experience for players.
