New Delhi: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s wife Anupama Nadella is the daughter of an IAS officer. Satya Nadella is a resident of Hyderabad. He has been leading Microsoft since 2014. Anupama is with him. Satya Nadella has taken Microsoft to new heights. Under his leadership, Microsoft surpassed Apple to become the world’s most valuable company. Its market valuation is 3.25 trillion dollars. Last year, the price of Microsoft’s shares has increased by about 30 percent. Satya Nadella’s wife Anupama is fondly called Anu by her family members. Anupama and Satya’s father were IAS batchmates. Anupama was born in New Delhi to IAS officer KR Venugopal. She studied from Hyderabad. She has graduated in Architecture from Manipal University.
After studies, I decided to take care of the house
After her studies, Anupama decided to take care of the house. She raised her three children. They got married the same year Satya joined Microsoft. Satya gave up his green card to go to America. He took an H-1B visa for Anupama.
In 2022, the Nadella family lost their 26-year-old son Jain. Jain was suffering from cerebral palsy. After this incident, Anupama started working with Seattle Children’s Hospital. Focused on children’s health.
Also active in philanthropic activities
Apart from her family responsibilities, Anupama is also active in philanthropic activities. She donated Rs 2 crore to support farmers and women in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Anupama also contributed Rs 2 crore to the PM Relief Fund in India. Anupama supported Satya Nadella at every step in his journey to success.
