Microsoft will stop supporting standard programs, Windows Mail and Calendar, starting December 31.

Users were asked to switch from classic Outlook to the new one and export letters and contacts to it, Day.Az reports with reference to TASS.

Starting January 1 of the coming year, the ability to send and receive mail through the Windows Mail application will no longer be available, but users will still be able to return to applications through the settings menu in Outlook on a PC.

Microsoft noted that clients are currently being transferred to a new version of the Outlook email client.

Previously, Microsoft confirmed the presence of two new bugs in Windows 11 version 24H2. One of them affects gamers using the Auto HDR feature, while the other can completely turn off the sound on the computer. Although Microsoft blocked the distribution of the update, some users managed to install it. There are currently no workarounds for them. Microsoft promises to release updated drivers that will solve the problem. They will be distributed through Windows Update.
